Pizza Oven?

I came across this old building when I was biking around. The section had been cleared, but this old brick place had been left standing. Do you know what it is?

Have a guess and put your guesses on the comment page. I will tell you next time. The Japanese word for this is "Kama". Arita Yaki is pottery from the famous pottery town of Arita.

Hey you guys, some great ideas here;
It's actually an ancient microwave oven, no seriously it's a pottery kiln. It's nice they didn't bowl it with the digger. it must have some historical value.

Yes there was a house on this section, that unfortunately got destroyed. I'm pleased they saved the kiln. There is pottery around here that is over 300 years old. Japan has been making pottery for a very long time. The blue and white European pottery people collect was first designed in Japan. Blue on white is very famous in Japan. I will post some pictures of traditional style ceramic artists on here soon, so you can see them. They have to sit a special way and each has their own special little room.
